Soshe Beauty Blurring Pillow Bronzer | While I’ve yet to find the right blush shade in this line, the texture has always excited me, so a bronzer extension has satiated me for the moment 😉
This cream-to-powder is a hydrated putty that initially applies more sheerly but can readily build up. It’s very agreeable, flattering, and user-friendly from beginner to expert. Soshe was one of the first brands that I saw bring it to Western markets, which thankfully also means making it accessible to a broader range of skin tones.

I picked up the three lightest shades: Bronze Linen, Olive Bronze Drift, and Bronze Speakeasy. Bronze Linen is described as fair-light with a neutral undertone, though I would say it has a bit more pink in it than a true neutral. I usually have a bit of reservation around pink in bronzer because on my muted skin, it can become very amplified very quickly and just look… pink. Happy to share though that this one is beautifully balanced and looks the most natural on each “bronzing area” of my complexion.
For Olive Bronze Drift, shades targeted to olive tones often work well on me, I’m suspecting again because of being muted. This one leans on the warmer side of olive and therefore slightly warmer on my face but still very wearable.
Lastly, Bronze Speakeasy is a described as a medium bronze with mauve undertones. I picked up this one due to @teresaglina sharing that she uses the Speakeasy blush to add some color after bronzing and thought this might give a similar effect since it has some more brown mixed in. I’m SO happy to share that it does and is a perfect sunkissed cheek! It gives a kiss of flush without going too pink.

Bare Muse blush is included for comparison as it went warmer for a lot of folks than anticipated. It has more peach in it that makes it go orange for me, while the bronzer never crosses that line. Subtle difference but noticeable impact on my complexion. (Swatches are very built up for reference!)

Soshe’s packaging is refillable with refills being more affordable. While the component is more lightweight, the refill and recycle system implementation doesn’t make it feel cheap.
