Natasha Denona Tan Palette | This stunner of a warm-leaning neutral palette came just in time for summer!
Natasha Denona offers some of my favorite eyeshadow formulas, and this one is no different. From what I can tell, there are seven different formulas in this palette: Creamy Matte, Slip Cream Matte, Sparkling Foiled, Metallic, Matte, Sparkling Wet, and Metal Gloss. While I don’t have the caption space to talk about each one, I will highlight a few!

My favorites are the Sparkling Foiled and Metal Gloss. The finish is just so beautiful, offering a really special, almost wet-effect reflect and without grabbing onto texture. Out of this palette, I can already tell you that Brook and Celeste are my top shades.
That being said, I do also love her metallic formula, which can range from being more impactful to almost leaning satin. For example, Villa is probably closer to what you might expect from a metallic, while Daydream leans closer to the satin side. That is not at all disappointing for me as someone who thinks satins are underrated (!), but something to know if it’s not your personal choice.

The Sparkling Wet formula has by far the brightest reflection but is definitely not my favorite. It is a very dry formula, almost reminiscent of a pressed glitter albeit in a very fine particle size. Not uncomfortable by any means, just one that doesn’t have any slip and that you’ll definitely want a glitter primer for.

The Matte formula is relatively standard but very easy to blend, while the Creamy Matte formula is more emollient and closer to a cream-to-powder. The Slip Cream is closer to a firm cream shadow but one that can be applied very thinly as well and that also blends out quite easily.

I tend to use natural hair brushes for my eyeshadow and find that they’re very compatible with ND formulas. Usually all I need to decide between is a firmer/denser brush or a fluffier one!
Personally, this is one of the best warmer palettes I’ve ever come across for my complexion and my preferences – the balanced sandy tones + the different finishes make it ideal.
