Romand Glasting Color Gloss | Calling all of my muted friends! (And those who love gloss, obviously.)
Romand recently expanded their gloss line to have a “Nude Series,” which the existing shade 12 Cream Shell has been added to. I’ve also included the shade 14 Muige in collaboration with @bbo_bling__ because of how perfectly it fits into this range.

Romand’s gloss formula is top notch. It has the perfect density, meaning it isn’t thin enough to settle into lip lines nor is it thick enough to be heavy, sticky, or stringy. Quite the opposite! It has a lovely texture that feels plush and enveloping on your lips, while also floating over any lines to give the appearance of more fullness and volume. The formula also has a really nice shine without ever being too much – your lips will just look very healthy and hydrated. They look and feel like a luxury formula.
On top of that, these shades are impeccable. As soon as I saw these tones, which are nothing like what I’ve seen at least in the Western beauty market, I knew I had to try them, and they did not disappoint! In combination with the already fabulous formula, these instantly became holy grail status.

Lastly, these do carry that fruity scent that I’ve come to associate with a lot of K beauty products, but it is lighter than most and not something I smell or taste once on the lips.
My favorites out of these are 22 Cream Mud and 23 Cream Haze. If I were to have created my dream gloss, it would live somewhere within these two. I must say though that 14 Muige is such a close contender. It’s that wonderful grape shade that sometimes already be elusive, but more muted – stunning.
I believe Shades 12 and 21-24 are now available on the Romand US site. There is one more shade in the collection called 25 Cream Beans which is closer to a warmer rose but still slightly muted. I’m not sure that you can get 14 Muige in the US yet, but hopefully it becomes available internationally soon!
