Hung Vanngo Beauty has recently expanded their line to include the new Tansculpt Cream Bronzing Contour Balm. I was quite intrigued by the “gel-balm-to-powder” formula, as my bronzing routine consists of setting a cream bronzer with a powder one and had hopes of this combining the two steps.
The packaging is consistent with the rest of the collection, coming in a hot red color. I love the design of the compact, as it gives sufficient surface area to not have to be precious with your application tool of choice and also contains a sizeable mirror.
The formula itself is very thin and pigmented, though easily blended and does indeed quickly transform from an emollient texture to a more powdery one, resulting in a set but not dry finish. It applied seamlessly with a brush and was smooth on the skin while simultaneously providing a little more coverage.
Despite these positive attributes, this product is unfortunately unusable for me. Knowing how yellow the fairest powder bronzer pulled, I was very hesitant about the tones in this collection but noted that all of the shades were designed to have neutral undertones. However, as it turns out, skepticism was warranted; I genuinely do not see how this could be neutral for anyone who is lighter than a light skin tone despite being marketed to fair skin. This is undeniably ORANGE both due to the tone and saturation. I held out hope that it might work when sparingly applied, but that was not the case, resulting in me having to immediately correct the tone on my face to save my makeup.
Included are swatches of the product itself, as well as comparisons to my current everyday bronzer and contour. The bronzer is very neutral and desaturated without going cool, and the contour is comparatively cooler without being actually gray.

Hung Vanngo Beauty, please expand this range to have a lighter and cooler option! This is such a nice and innovative formula, and I’d love to be able to experience it as intended.
