Say hello to one of my favorite launches of the year! I genuinely could not be more thrilled with this product, which is advertised as a true multitasker (or as Mac says, “eyeline to jawline”). Swipe for swatches and applicator photos.
These have an incredibly thin formula that spreads so easily and *evenly.* Not only has battling patchiness not even been a consideration despite the coverage, but they also blur and smooth – a claim I undoubtedly would have side-eyed if not experiencing it myself during the last couple of weeks.
For context, I have been using these as eye bases for my hooded lids; without primer, no shadow stands a chance. Compared to the paint pots, these are more sturdy/tenacious, preventing creasing literally all day. They’re also significantly thinner and offer more coverage with less product. The only note is that I do recommend doing one lid/area at a time because while you do have enough time to spread them, they set quickly afterwards.
As for the applicator, I find that it has been expertly designed. The tapered tip allows for precision, while the shallow reservoir picks up the perfect amount of product. The component also clicks closed, so you have assurance that it is secure.
My most-used shade so far is Tailor Grey, which is a beautiful cool taupe that has been perfect for evening my lids and accentuates my eye color. All the ones I’ve picked up are so nice – the second swatch photo also shows the product color out of the component (vs. blended).
