Natasha Denona I Need a Cool Palette

Natasha Denona I Need A Cool Palette | The long-awaited cool-toned installation is finally here!

Like many, I have awaited this type of color story in Natasha Denona’s formulas for quite some time, and I’m so excited that this stunner is now in my hands. There was no question as to whether I was grabbing it, and it doesn’t disappoint!

If you’re familiar with ND, this palette will feel very natural to you, and a lot of my thoughts are in my prior Tan Palette post if you’re interested in more detail. There are five types of formulas contained in this palette: Matte, Creamy Matte, Silky Matte, Sparkling Foiled, and Metallic. The only one that gave me some trouble swatching was Nimbus, which is not unexpected as a creamy matte, but I’ve never had trouble during application.

There are a couple of more emollient shades in this formula that have a “squish” in the pan when using them – Sterling and Chime (which are both sparkling foiled formulas) and Glacier (which is a metallic formula). The others feel very standard/consistent with prior palettes.

I love how this color story leans neutral-cool without being distinctly gray. As much as I adore Xenon for its impactful finishes, this is much more approachable for daily wear and will without question be one of my new staple palettes. While some were hoping for more blues, purples, etc. – and I’d still enjoy seeing those in the future – this seems to have met a lot of people where they are right now in terms of a meaningful gap in their makeup collection.

Included after the swatches are several comparisons to existing palettes, both from Natasha Denona and otherwise. Let me know if you have any specific swatch requests, but I hope this is helpful!

Are you picking this one up?
